Streaming Home Announced For Latest Season

Yellowstone Season 3 has been a gigantic success for The Paramount Network this year, with the neo-western topping video on demand store charts for a large part of the year. However, the latest season of the show is currently not available to watch on any of the major streaming services.

That will change, however, as of next month. On November 22, Yellowstone Season 3 is coming to Peacock, where it will join the first two seasons of the Kevin Costner-starring western. This will make Peacock the only place where viewers can watch all three seasons of the show, which was officially the most-watched cable show of 2020.

Just Eat Takeaway shares soar as COVID-19 fears keep home-dining orders coming

Just Eat Takeaway’s order growth jumps amid continuing demand for online delivery.

Shares in Just Eat Takeaway leapt more than 5% on Wednesday, after the food-delivery platform reported a surge in online orders in the third quarter as more consumers turned to apps for their dining needs amid social distancing restrictions.

said it had received 46% more orders in the three months to September, compared with the same period in 2019.

The Amsterdam-headquartered company delivered 151.4 million orders globally in the third quarter, bringing the total to 408.3 million in the first nine months of the year.

The strong results sent shares in Just Eat Takeaway up 5.34% in early morning London trading.   

Just Eat Takeaway saw the highest sales in the U.K., where it delivered 46.4 million orders in three months, up 43% on the previous year.

Trash bags full of undelivered mall were discovered at the curb outside the home of a postal employee in Pennsylvania.

Special agents with U.S. Postal Service’s Office of Inspector General (USPS OIG) responded to a report about undelivered mail on Sunday and discovered trash bags full of undelivered mail placed near the street for pickup outside the employee’s home in Baldwin, a small suburb of Pittsburgh, according to CNN.

The agency said in a statement that the employee works at the post office in the small town of Mount Oliver. Their name was not released, but the workers is currently on a non-duty and non-pay status.

“USPS OIG Special Agents recovered several different classes of mail, including business mail, flats, and small amount of first class mail,” Special Agent Scott Balfour told CNN in a statement.

U.S. coffee drinkers consume as much at home during pandemic, poll shows

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Americans are drinking just as much coffee during the pandemic, as often as before, but at home instead of in coffee shops and restaurants, a poll released on Wednesday showed.

Online purchases have jumped by 57% as coffee buyers cut back on trips to the supermarket, according to the survey commissioned by the National Coffee Association (NCA).

Consumer habits for the period in Aug. 26 to Sept. 3 were similar to those in a January poll, with six in 10 people drinking coffee everyday, at an average of 2.9 cups per day.

The pandemic’s impact on demand for commodities such as coffee, sugar or wheat has been difficult to gauge. But the association cited signs that greater home consumption has offset falling sales at businesses, without providing volume data.

Employees To Get Permanent Work From Home Through Summer 2021

Cloud services company Dropbox is allowing its employees to work from home permanently, as part of its new ‘virtual first’ approach, it announced Tuesday in a blog post.

All employees of Dropbox have been working from home since March when the pandemic triggered lockdowns. This mandatory work-from-home policy has now been extended until June 2021. The change comes after an internal survey by the company suggested that nearly 90% of employees feel productive at home and don’t want to return to a rigid five-day in-office workweek.

Dropbox is the latest to join technology companies including Microsoft, Twitter, Slack, and Facebook to announce permanent work-from-home policies.

A micro preemie who was born at just 1 pound has defied the odds after doctors determined he had little chance of survival.

Russell Appold Jr. was treated at Tulane Lakeside Hospital in Louisiana after his mother went into labor at 22 weeks pregnant. Russell fought 133 days in the neonatal intensive care unit and finally arrived home Oct. 1.

“If it wasn’t for them and God, I don’t think he would be here,” mom Natasha Williams told “Good Morning America.” “They are so sweet and became our family. … We cried quite a bit when we had to say goodbye.”

Williams, now a mother of three, said when trying to have Russell she was pregnant three times, but none of the babies had heartbeats.

Solano County legalized home food pop-ups. But 6 months later, chefs still can’t sell

When Solano County approved a new California law that would legalize home-based kitchen operations in April, it seemed like Cheska Kistner’s plans to open a restaurant in her Benicia home would finally come to fruition. The measure, California’s AB626, allows for what are known as microenterprise food businesses, which Alameda County also made inroads toward legalizing Monday. But no Bay Area county has yet fully implemented the 2018 law, leaving entrepreneurs like Kistner in limbo.

Under AB626, cooks can legally sell up to 30 meals a day or 60 per week from their homes when their counties opt in and they have received a permit; their annual gross sales are capped at $50,000. Nearly nine of 10 workers want to keep work-from-home option

LONDON (Reuters) – Nearly nine out of 10 workers want to be able to choose whether to work from home or the office once COVID-19 workplace restrictions ease, and have greater autonomy over their hours, according to research from Cisco Systems.

The pandemic has rapidly shifted attitudes towards home working, the research showed, with two thirds of workers developing a greater appreciation of the benefits and challenges of doing their jobs remotely.

Even though only 5% of those surveyed worked from home most of the time before the lockdown, now 87% of workers wanted the ability to choose where, how and when they worked – blending between being office-based and working remotely, Cisco said in a report issued on Wednesday.
